Bangladeshi band 'Shironamhin' will release their latest song 'Cafeteria Periye' on Pohela Baishakh. The song is a sequel to 'Cafeteria,' a track from their debut album "Jahaji." Guitarist Shishir Ahmed of the band 'Aurthohin' has appeared as a guest musician in the song. 

The music video of 'Cafeteria Periye' was directed by award-winning director Ashraf Shishir. The shooting of the video took place inside the BUET campus in Dhaka. Indoor shooting took place at the studio of Deepto TV.  

Ziaur Rahman, bassist, lyricist and founding member of Shironamhin, talked to The Business Standard about the band's latest release. He said, "We were lucky to have finished the shooting of the video before Covid-19 swept off Bangladesh. The song is about our memories of university life and we are happy to release it on Pohela Baishakh."

Talking about director Ashraf Shishir, he added, "It was a pleasure to have Ashraf Shishir as the director of our music video." Zia also spoke highly about Shishir Ahmed, who appeared as a guest artist in the song. 

Ashraf Shishir has also directed "Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo"- a feature film.

Shishir Ahmed, lead guitarist and keyboardist of 'Aurthohin,' played the guitar solo in 'Cafeteria Periye,' He shared his experience of collaborating with Shironamhin.

"It's been a long time since I worked for a song other than my band Aurthohin. Shironamhin has a very unique sound. It was a wonderful experience for me to work with them.

'Cafeteria Periye' will be available on multiple music streaming platforms and YouTube.
