The YouthNet for Climate Justice provided essential foods, medicines and other support to about 300 flood-affected communities in Bandarban on Monday. The target areas included Balaghata, Islampur, and Kabiraj Para of Bandarban.

Jinmran Md Saiak, coordinator for communication at YouthNet, Sajjad Hossain, YouthNet's Bandarban district coordinator, and more high officials of the organisation took part in the relief distribution efforts. The members of the army also collaborated to ensure the orderly distribution of relief materials to those in need.

YouthNet also conducted awareness campaigns focusing on women's health and safety during crises and distributed reusable sanitary napkins to promote hygiene practices.

In addition to the relief efforts and awareness campaigns, YouthNet also sought to fulfill its core mission of protecting the environment and combatting climate change. To this end, the organisation arranged a knowledge-sharing campaign that emphasised the importance of environment protection and safeguarding of communities against the adverse effects of climate change.
