BSMMU professor tests positive for coronavirus 

A professor of Dermatology & Venereology Department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has been diagnosed positive with the novel coronavirus. 

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, BSMMU Vice Chancellor Kanak Kanti Barua said, "The department has been disinfected after the test result came and the persons who came in his contact have been sent to quarantine." 

The professor was present on the BSMMU campus on Thursday. Before he was found positive, he distributed masks among his colleagues.

So far 21 people have died from the deadly virus and 330 people are infected with it in the country.
