When Imran becomes Sachin!

Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s Aide gave Twitter a good laugh after he mistakenly posted a picture of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket - Sachin Tendulkar - captioning it “PM Imran Khan 1969”, instead of posting a picture of the PM himself.

Naeem ul Haque, special assistant to Mr Khan, was made fun of soon after the picture started circulating all over Twitter. In response to the mishap, netizens of Twitter soon came forward with their own gravy train of memes.

One of the meme-worthy tweets was a photo of actor Aamir Khan in the movie 'Lagaan', saying it was India cricket team captain Virat Kohli.

Another tweet was from a user who posted a picture of a potato, captioning it to be Inzamam-ul-Haq.

A post had the user share a picture of Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan, saying it was former Pakistan paceman Shoaib Akhtar.

Up until now, the PM’s post has gathered more than 1800 retweets and over 12,700 likes.

Imran Khan, who was the former captain of Pakistan cricket team, had led his team towards the country’s only cricket World Cup victory in 1992.
