Banks to operate from 9am to 3pm daily

Banks across the country will remain open from 9am to 3pm daily to save electricity.
The new timings will come into effect from Wednesday (24 August).
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam made the disclosure after a Cabinet meeting.

He also announced that government and autonomous offices will operate from 8am to 3pm daily from Wednesday.
