State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has said the government will thoroughly investigate the allegation against Kazi Anarkoly, deputy chief of Mission of Bangladesh in Jakarta.

He said steps will be taken against her as per the law if the allegation brought against her is found true after the investigation.

The state minister termed the diplomat's alleged involvement in possessing drug "embarrassing and unfortunate".
