4 Covid deaths, 900 cases reported in a day

Bangladesh registered four deaths and 900 cases from Covid in the last 24 hours till 8am Sunday.
The positivity rate was recorded at 11.12% during the same period after testing 8,091 samples across the country.
Among the eight divisions, Dhaka logged the highest number of cases with 571 patients.

After four days, the number of daily Covid cases has come down below 1,000. Earlier, on 12 July 656 Covid cases were reported after testing 4,761 samples.
So far 29,234 people have died and 19,96,340 tested positive for the virus in Bangladesh since 2020.
Meanwhile, 1,983 Covid patients were cured in the last 24 hours taking the recovery rate to 96.42%.
