Covid: One dead, eight more infected
A total of 234 samples were tested, yielding a positivity rate of 3.42%

The country reported one more Covid-19 death and three fresh cases in 24 hours till Tuesday (8 July) morning, taking the total number of deaths from the viral disease to 25 since January, according to a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same period, eight new cases were detected leaving the total at 651 this year.
The DGHS statement added that a total of 234 samples were tested during this time, yielding a positivity rate of 3.42%.
Earlier on 6 July, one person died and six cases were reported. The cumulative death toll since the pandemic began stands at 29,524.
The first case of the Coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on 8 March 2020.
Ten days later, on 18 March 2020, the country's first death from Covid-19 was reported.
