The theme for this year's World Cancer Day is "I Am and I Will"
Apollo Hospitals Dhaka observed World Cancer Day in collaboration with Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd on February 4 by conducting a patient forum in the hospital's auditorium. The theme for this year's World Cancer Day is "I Am and I Will".
The forum was attended by Dr Biswajit Bhattacharjee, consultant of Radiation and Clinical Oncology; Dr Ferdous Shahriar Sayed, consultant of Medical Oncology; Professor Dr Raju Titus Chacko, Senior consultant of Medical Oncology of Apollo Cancer Care Centre; and Dr Abu Jafar Mohammed Saleh, coordinator and consultant of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplant department alongside other eminent doctors and high officials of the hospital.
Apollo Hospital Dhaka's chief executive officer Dr Ratnadeep Chaskar spoke about the various services the hospital and Apollo Cancer Care Centre offers.

The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Akhtar Jamil Ahmed, general manager of the hospital's business development department.
More than a hundred participants attended the event.
