As part of a regular series of lectures in honour of American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB) Founder Chairman Dr Anwarul Abedin, a virtual discussion was organised by the Faculty of Science and Technology on 5G technology on 6 May.

As a guest speaker, Dr Andrej Gonzalez, a renowned researcher at Norway's Telenor Group, shared his views on 5G technology with the participants highlighting the potential uses and needs of this relatively new technology, reads a press release. 

AIUB Engineering Faculty Dean Prof Dr ABM Siddique Hossain sought views on how the university should play its role in making modern life easier and more efficient in today's world using 5G technology.
