Popular American rapper Kanye West's life will be unveiled for the audience at the online streaming platform Netflix.

The multi-part documentary will feature never-before-seen home videos and rare footage of the billionaire rapper spanning over two decades, Variety reported.

Citing a source, Billboard initially claimed that the popular streaming giant Netflix bought the rights of the documentary for a whopping $30 million. However, a person familiar with the matter described that number as inaccurate.

The untitled documentary will also feature his career in music and fashion, his failed 2020 presidential bid, and the death of his mother, Donda West.

Netflix has bought the rights from popular music video duo Clarence "Coodie" Simmons and ChikeOzah, who have previously directed and produced West's 2004 music video "Jesus Walks (Version 3)" and "Through the Wire."

The project is expected to be released this year.
