Workers Party announces protest rally against Hefazat's 'anarchy'

Workers Party of Bangladesh will hold a protest rally in front of its party office in Dhaka at 4 pm on Monday in protest against Hefazat-e-Islam's recent demonstrations.

Terming Hefazat's protest activities "terrorism and anarchy" the party called on all of its leaders and workers in the Dhaka metropolis to be present for the success of the programme.

Hefazat-e-Islam has been creating lawlessness in the country for the last few days by killing, attacking, and anarchism, Workers Party said in a press statement.

Meanwhile, protesting Hefazat's activities, the Dhaka Mahanagar Committee of Workers Party organised a torchlight procession from its party office on Sunday evening. The procession ended at Paltan after circling different roads of the city.

Workers Party Dhaka Metropolitan Committee President Comrade Abul Hossain, General Secretary Comrade Kishore Roy, Central Committee Member Mostafa Alamgir Ratan and others spoke at the procession.

They called for tough action from the government against Hefazat's 'terrorism and anarchy.'
