A group of demonstrators, who are protesting against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Dhaka visit, locked into a clash with police and Awami League men on the premises of Baitul Mukarram mosque in the capital after the Jummah prayer on Friday.

The protesters were seen chanting slogans against Narendra Modi while they engaged in the clash.

Both groups hurled stones and bricks at each other. Police fired a few rounds of tear shells to bring the situation under control.
