Padma Bank launches women banking product —  Padmabati

Padma Bank has launched a specialised woman banking product – Padmabati – which will enable women to debit money from any automated teller machine free of charge across the country. 

Women will also receive many other special benefits and discounts using this newly launched banking product, said a media statement issued on Sunday.

The service will be provided through 58 branches of the bank across the country.

Women entrepreneurs, salaried professionals, home makers and students— are all eligible to enjoy the features of Padmabati.

Padmabati customers will receive free debit card, free Privilege/Discount Card and free cheque book.

Also, through this account, other deposit products can be linked with this account.

The bank will also offer loan facility with less processing fee under this scheme.

Besides, a 50% discount will be provided for locker service and special discount on student file processing and specially, daily profit earnings, the media statement read.

This woman-centric specialised product was launched on Sunday at a city hotel on the eve of International Women's Day.

During the launching ceremony, Managing Director of Padma Bank Md Ehsan Khasru; Head of Business Zabed Amin; Head of Human Resources Division M Ahsan Ullah Khan, among others were present.
