BCB XI bundled Windies XI out for 257 in the first innings of the three-day warm-up match at Chattogram, thanks to leg-spinner Rishad Hossain's five-for.
Windies started off the day pretty well after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Their skipper Kraig Brathwaite and John Campbell put on a 67-run opening stand. Campbell was the first to go. All-rounder Shahadat Hossain Dipu sent him back to the pavilion after he scored 44 off 73 deliveries. This was Dipu's only wicket in the innings.
It was all Rishad Hossain after that. He got tremendous support from pacer Khaled Ahmed as well. These two picked up 8 wickets combined.
Rishad bowled 23 overs for his 5 wickets giving away 75 runs. He began his wicket fest with Shayne Moseley's wicket. The youngster then went on to pick up 4 more. Jermaine Blackwood, Kyle Mayers, Alzarri Joseph and Shannon Gabriel were his other victims.
Besides picking up a five-for, Rishad took two brilliant catches as well.
Even though Rishad picked up an all-important five-for to bowl Windies out, pacer Khaled Ahmed did the main job of breaking their backbone upfront.
Khaled's biggest hunt was Windies skipper Kraig Brathwaite who top-scored a valiant 85 off 187 opening the innings. He also picked up the wickets of Nkrumah Bonner and Kavem Hodge.
Windies skipper Brathwaite led the batting unit from the front. He was the top scorer and anchored the innings pretty well whomever he got to bat in.
Apart from Brathwaite, there were few solid starts from their batsmen but none could reach the fifty mark. John Campbell bagged 44 and Mayers bagged 40.  Five of their eleven batsmen got out under 10 runs mark.
There were two solid 50+ partnerships. One between the openers, Kraig Brathwaite and John Campbell, of 67 runs. Brathwaite then built a 53-run partnership for the 7th wicket with Kyle Mayers, who scored a quickfire 40 off 39 balls.
For BCB XI bowlers, Mukidul Islam and Shahin Alam remained wicketless. Opening batsman Saif Hasan surprisingly bowled 8 overs of off-spin and bagged the wicket of wicket-keeper Joshua Da Silva. Shahadat Hossain Dipu bagged the other one.
BCB XI batted 8 overs before stumps. Openers Saif Hasan and Shadman Islam played out the overs safely and scored 24 runs. Saif remained unbeaten on 15 off 28 deliveries with two boundaries and one over boundary. Shadman bagged 3 off 22.
Wicket-keeper batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan is leading the BCB XI. The other members of the squad are- Mohammad Naim, Mukidul Islam, Saif Hasan, Shadman Islam, Akbar Ali, Shahadat Hossain, Shahin Alam, Khaled Ahmed, Towhid Hridoy, Yasir Ali, Rishad Hossain.
Bangladesh will face Windies in the first Test on February 03 at Chattogram.
