Eastern University distributes blankets among destitute

The social welfare club of Eastern University has distributed blankets among the destitute and helpless people on Monday, said a press release.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated the blanket giving ceremony in the morning while the club coordinator Dr Sharmin Islam, Business Administration Faculty Dean Prof Dr Abbas Ali Khan were present.
Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain said the university is situated in your locality.

"The university needs your cooperation to move further. At the same time, it is our duty to provide quality education to your children," he mentioned.
The university has taken special measures to ensure education for poor students, the VC added.
