In 2020 we weren't able to see a lot of handsets but major smartphone makers were able to bring out their most powerful devices in the market. From Samsung to Asus and others, we saw some smartphones were not only powerful but stood out in terms of features – something that made them the best gaming smartphones of 2020 as well. So, we compiled top 5 powerful gaming smartphones that came out this year featuring good screens, battery life and of course, top of the line processor. Check it out!

Asus ROG Phone 3

This is a no brainer. With 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel featuring 10-bit HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate, it gives you a really good screen for gaming. It is also the first to include Qualcomm's most powerful Snapdragon 865 processor along with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM. Besides game-centric features like Air Triggers and side-mounted Type-C ports and X-Mode, it is backed by a massive 6000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.

Although this is not a gaming phone per se, it still qualifies as one. You get a large 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Quad HD+ screen with 120Hz, which is good for gaming anyday, along with 12GB of RAM and a well-performing Exynos 990 chipset. It also has a rather generous 4,500mAh battery and AKG tuned speakers for more immersive audio.

Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max

Its specs might not be as powerful on paper as other Android smartphones in the list but it's real world performance is nothing less. There's a large 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen along with company's own 5nm A14 Bionic processor and dual speakers to make any game look good on it. The key here is the efficiency and the power it can push out while using limited resources.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro

It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor, which is powerful enough to make any game work smoothly, along with 8GB RAM. You also get ample 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
