bKash offers 1% cash bonus on remittances

bKash is offering a 1% cash bonus to around 50 million customers upon receiving remittances through banking channels from abroad – on top of a 2% government incentive, read a press release.

If any expatriate from 93 selected countries sends Tk10 thousand or more to their relative's bKash account via any of the 42 money transfer organisations, the receiver staying in Bangladesh will get 1% extra, as a bonus on top of a 2% government incentive.

This offer will be valid till 31 January, 2021, stated the press release.

A receiver can avail this offer twice per month – which means a maximum of four times during the whole campaign. As a result, s/he can get up to Tk1,200 in a month and maximum Tk2,400 during the offer period.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the 1% cash bonus from bKash along with 2% incentive from the government will bring more relief to expatriates and their relatives in receiving remittances from anywhere, 24/7, while sitting at home.

Expatriates can send remittances to their loved ones' bKash accounts instantly through online/internet transfers or mobile wallets without wasting their working time and going anywhere.

In addition, receivers can Cash Out the money at any time from any nearby agent point instead of having to go to the bank and thus, save the cost of traveling and time as well.

They can even avail other services like: paying utility bills, sending money, recharging mobiles, paying educational institutions or hospitals, shopping online, etc.
For expatriates who are staying far away from the country and sending their hard earned money back home, bKash is going to organise an online concert on 18 December to honour their contribution.

During this concert, the expatriates will have the chance to win a TV, fridge, washing machine, or cash bonus for their loved ones staying in Bangladesh by answering three simple questions. Detailed information can be found at the following link: https://fb.me/e/3bRVm08N8
