Export and import between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port remained suspended due to Kali Puja, a religious festival of the Hindu community, on Sunday.

Kartik Chakrawarty, general secretary of Benapole C&F Staff Welfare Association, said the trade activities between the two countries remained suspended since Sunday morning as there is a holiday on the Indian side due to Kali puja.
