Middle East crude exports rebound despite continued Strait of Hormuz attacks
Middle East crude oil exports excluding Iran have surged above pre-war levels despite ongoing attacks around the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq drove the rebound by using alternative routes, pipelines, and offshore transfers. Meanwhile, Iranian exports remained below pre-war levels as maritime security risks continued and oil prices declined.
