Rain predicted in parts of country
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am today), the highest 60 millimetre rainfall occurred in Tetulia.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (13 September) forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9 am.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka & Mymensingh divisions and at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on yesterday (12 September) was 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, while today's minimum temperature is 23.3 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
