BRAC Bank opens 24/7 Digital Service Centre in Gulshan
BRAC Bank has opened a 24-hour Digital Service Centre in Dhaka's Gulshan area, offering round-the-clock access to cash transactions, fund transfers, and other essential banking services.
The self-service centre, styled "BRAC Bank Fast Track", is located at Ventura Avenue in Gulshan 2, according to a press release.
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan formally inaugurated the centre on 6 July.
The facility has two cash recycling machines and an automated teller machine, enabling customers to withdraw and deposit cash, transfer funds, and access other services at their convenience.
During banking hours, a dedicated Digital Ambassador will help visitors open digital accounts, use the Astha app via Astha Sheba and obtain information about deposit and loan products.
The bank said the facility reflects its focus on customer-centric innovation, shifting routine transactions to automated channels and accelerating the mobilisation of deposits in current and savings accounts.
BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque; Deputy Managing Director and Head of Alternate Banking Channels Nazmur Rahim; and Senior Zonal Head, Branch Distribution Network Taher Hasan Al Mamun attended the inauguration.
Other senior officials of the bank were also present.
Commenting on the initiative, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said, "This centre represents a pivotal milestone in redefining our distribution strategy.
"By seamlessly shifting high-volume daily transactions to automated platforms, we are not only providing our customers with banking flexibility but also unlocking the true potential of our Digital Ambassador.
"We will continue to expand the network of Digital Service Centres across the country."
