Listed criminal Palash shot in Rampura
Palash was later rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment
Yasin Khan Palash, widely known as "Kailla Palash" and identified as a top-listed criminal, was shot in the capital's Rampura area today (12 June).
Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Asaduzzaman said the incident occurred around 2pm in the Rampura TV Centre area.
Palash was later rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.

According to the OC, a milad mahfil had been organised at Palash's residence. After offering Jummah prayers at a nearby mosque, he was standing on the opposite side of Rampura TV Centre on his way home when two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The OC could not immediately confirm how many bullets struck Palash or whether he had survived the attack.
