Bangladesh reiterates partnership with UNDP for development

Speaking at the annual meeting of the UNDP Executive Board at the United Nations Headquarters in New York yesterday, Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury highlighted UNDP's crucial role in strengthening democratic participation and supporting judicial reforms in Bangladesh, said a press release received here today.

He also underscored the importance of new, additional and accessible climate finance to address loss and damage faced by climate-vulnerable countries.

Ambassador Chowdhury congratulated the new UNDP Administrator Alexander De Croo on assuming office and reaffirmed Bangladesh's full support for his leadership.
