AIBL distributes Tk2.53cr agricultural investment in chuadanga
Al-Arafah Islami Bank's Chuadanga Branch has distributed agricultural investments worth Tk2.53 crore among 201 farmers at a programme held in Alukdia under Chuadanga Sadar on Sunday (30 November).
Managing Director (Acting) Mohammad Rafat Ullah Khan attended the event as chief guest and handed over the investment documents to farmers. He said agriculture remains the backbone of the country's economy and the bank is expanding its Shariah-based financial services to make timely support accessible to farmers. He added that the bank will continue investing in modern and technology-driven farming to help build a sustainable rural economy.
Deputy Managing Director S M Abu Zafar, Executive Vice-President A K M Amjad Hossain, Senior Vice-President Solaiman Al Razi, Senior Assistant Vice-President Sheikh Asadul Haque, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension in Chuadanga Md Masudur Rahman Sarkar, and Jasmine Ara Khatun, Acting Headmaster of Victoria Jubilee Government High School, attended the programme as special guests.
The event was presided over by Md Shariful Islam, Manager of the Chuadanga Branch.
