ICB employees union elects new committee for 2025–27 term
Md Jamat Ali has been elected president and Tarikul Islam general secretary of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Employees' Union for the 2025–27 term.
The election was recently held at the ICB head office.
Other elected office-bearers for the two-year term are: Nazir Ahmad, senior vice-president; Md Hasan Khan and Saifur Rahman, vice-presidents; Jahangir Alam, joint secretary; Md Anarul Islam and Md Al-Mamun Pradhan, assistant general secretaries; Mohammad Ali Azeem Khan, treasurer; Md Imran Hossain, organisational secretary; Md Imtiyaz Hossain Dulal, sports and cultural secretary; Md Sohanur Rahman Sagar, office secretary; and Md Faisal, publicity secretary.

The oath-taking and induction ceremony of the 2025–27 executive committee was held on 26 November, 2025 at the ICB head office. Professor Abu Ahmed, chairman of the corporation's board of directors, ICB Managing Director Niranjan Chandra Debnath, Deputy Managing Director Md Nurul Huda, chief executive officers of ICB subsidiaries, general managers and employees from various departments attended the ceremony.
