Emirates adds fifth daily flight to Cairo from February 2026
Emirates will introduce a fifth daily flight on the Dubai–Cairo route from 1 February 2026, complementing its current four daily services to meet strong leisure and corporate travel demand between Egypt and the UAE.
Once launched, Cairo will become the most served city in Emirates' African network. The new service will be operated with a Boeing 777, offering optimised connectivity to major Asian destinations including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Ahead of the additional daily service, Emirates will also add six weekly frequencies on the route from 1 December 2025 to accommodate peak winter demand.
Cairo has been one of Emirates' earliest destinations since the airline's inaugural flight to Egypt in 1986, and it remains a key market in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The city already records the highest deployment of Emirates' A380 aircraft in the region outside Dubai.
Over nearly four decades, Emirates has carried more than 10 million passengers to and from Egypt, strengthening its role as a long-term partner in the country's aviation, tourism, and trade sectors.
