Kagojbari, Medico Bio partner to link education and healthcare
Educational supply chain company Kagojbari and telemedicine service provider Medico Bio have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote accessible healthcare for students and their families across Bangladesh.
The signing took place on Tuesday, 4 November, at Medico Bio's corporate office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
Under the agreement, Kagojbari will supply student ID cards at affordable prices to educational institutions. Schools that partner with Kagojbari will enable registered students and their family members to access Medico Bio's telemedicine services for only Tk100 per year.
Through the Medico Bio app, users will have round-the-clock access to licensed doctors via audio and video consultations, along with digital prescriptions, ambulance support, home delivery of medicines, and discounts on hospital, diagnostic, and pharmacy services. Four free medical camps will also be organised annually at participating schools.
Representing Kagojbari, Managing Director Rezwan Kabir, Directors Zahid Anowar and Md Shah Alam, Executive Officer Shakheeruzzaman, and writer-journalist Hassan Atik attended the event. From Medico Bio, COO Md Nazmul Alam Noman and Director Md Meshkat-ur-Rahman Bandhon were present.
Kagojbari also announced a nationwide campaign to distribute free educational supplies to 4.5 lakh students in 1,500 schools within 12 hours in 2025, aiming to set a world record for the largest one-day educational material distribution.
