Class-8 students to get promotion without exams
The students of Class-8 will be promoted to next class automatically as Junior School Certificate (JSC) and its equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exam will not be held this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The students will be promoted to higher class based on evaluation from their respective educational institutions, said a circular from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board today.
The circular also added that the board will give further instruction regarding this soon.

Earlier on August 27, the Education Ministry announced that this year's JSC and its equivalent JDC examinations will not be held.
