IFIC celebrates 49 years of growth and customer trust
IFIC Bank PLC marked its 49th anniversary on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan, Dhaka.
The ceremony was attended by Md. Mehmood Husain (Chairman), Kazi Md Mahboob Kasem FCA (Independent Director), Syed Mansur Mustafa (Managing Director), Deputy Managing Directors, department heads, and senior officials.
Md Mehmood Husain thanked customers, shareholders, employees, and well-wishers for their support over the past 49 years, and highlighted that this milestone was achieved through teamwork. He reaffirmed IFIC Bank's commitment to advancing the nation's economic progress through service excellence, inclusivity and innovation.

Syed Mansur Mustafa, Managing Director of IFIC Bank, thanked the board for its commitment to governance. He noted that IFIC Bank, founded as a public–private partnership, now has 1,415 branches and sub-branches, with more than 6,000 employees, and provides nationwide banking services.
He highlighted ongoing investment in technology and digital banking to enhance customer experience.
The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
