E-passport services launched at Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad
With the launch of e-passport services at the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad, a new gateway for strengthening people-to-people connectivity between the two countries has been opened

The Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan, officially launched its e-passport services yesterday (19 September).
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani, attended the event as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the service, reads a foreign ministry press release.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Md Iqbal Hossain Khan, presided over the ceremony, while Commander Md Shoaib Khan, deputy project director of the e-Passport and Automated Border Control Management Project, joined as the special guest.
With the launch of e-passport services at the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad, a new gateway for strengthening people-to-people connectivity between the two countries has been opened, the release added.
The event was attended by expatriate Bangladeshis, officials and staff members of the mission, along with their families.
