At a glance: Bangladesh’s livestock economy in FY25

According to the Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Bangladesh has achieved self-sufficiency in meat and egg production, two key sources of high-quality protein and essential micronutrients. However, the country continues to fall short in meeting its milk production needs. Here, we take a look at the DLS data from FY2024-25.
