Brac bank opens new sub-branch at aftabnagar

BRAC Bank has proudly opened a dynamic new sub-branch in Aftabnagar, Dhaka, further enhancing its presence in the heart of the capital.
With this exciting addition, the bank's sub-branch network now stands at an impressive 97 locations.
The sub-branch at Basic Mansuba Tower, Plot A-24, Block A, Aftabnagar Housing, was inaugurated on August 17, 2025, by Faruq Mayeenuddin Ahmed, Vice Chairperson of BRAC Bank.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan (Managing Director & CEO, Current Charge), Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque (Deputy Managing Director & Head of Branch Distribution Network), Senior Zonal Head for North A.K.M. Tareq, and other senior Distribution Network officials also attended.
Aftabnagar, a growing residential hub near universities, wholesale markets, and urban facilities, is expected to benefit greatly from the new sub-branch.
The new sub-branch will offer modern banking services for individuals and businesses. Services include account opening, cash transactions, deposit pension scheme, EFTN and RTGS fund transfers, remittance, utility bill payments, credit card and consumer loan processing, student files, debit card and chequebook issuance, Astha App enrollment, school banking, and savings instruments. All services except foreign exchange will be available.
