BSCIC industry leaders seek BIDA, BEZA support for expansion

A five-member delegation from the BSCIC Industrial City Industry Owners Association met with the Honourable Executive Chairman (State Minister) of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), Mr Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun, at the BIDA office today, 14 July 2025.

Association President Md Mohiuddin Sheikh and Secretary General Dr Belal Uddin Ahmed led the delegation.

Mr Harun listened attentively to the delegation's concerns and assured them of all possible support in line with the government's industrial policy and investment facilitation agenda. He also reaffirmed the government's commitment to boosting industrial competitiveness through streamlined regulatory services, infrastructure upgrades, and access to financing.

The meeting reflects growing engagement between public institutions and private sector actors aimed at accelerating industrial development and investment growth in Bangladesh.
