Police have submitted a chargesheet today (13 July) against top-listed criminal Subrata Bain alias Fateh Ali, and three of his associates in an arms case filed with Dhaka's Hatirjheel Police Station.

The chargesheet was submitted to the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman by Detective Branch Inspector Aminul Islam, who is also the investigating officer.

The court ordered the case to be transferred to the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court for trial.

The three others named in the chargesheet are Abu Russel Masud alias Molla Masud, MAS Sharif, and Arafat Ibn Nasir alias Shooter Arafat.

The Bangladesh Army, in a special operation on 27 May arrested four individuals, including Subrata Bain and Molla Masud and seized five foreign-made pistols and ammunition.
