Online GD services now available in all districts of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions
Previously, online GD services were limited to lost and found items

The Bangladesh Police today (10 July) launched full-fledged online general diary (GD) services across all police stations in Rajshahi and Rangpur ranges, including Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RMP).
The move comes as part of the government's initiative to streamline and digitise police services, following directives from the chief adviser, allowing citizens to file any type of GD from the comfort of their homes.
Previously, online GD services were limited to lost and found items. With the latest expansion, a total of 151 police stations in Rajshahi and Rangpur will now process all categories of GDs online.
The service is already operational in the Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, and Chattogram ranges, as well as the Sylhet and Chattogram Metropolitan Police jurisdictions. The initiative will be gradually rolled out to the remaining ranges and metropolitan areas across the country.
To avail the service, citizens can download the 'Online GD' app from the Google Play Store and complete a one-time registration. For assistance, users can contact the 24-hour helpline at 01320001428.
The Bangladesh Police reiterated its commitment to delivering prompt and accessible services at the doorstep of the public.
