Trump imposes 35% tariff on Bangladeshi products
US President Donald Trump has announced a 35 percent tariff on Bangladeshi goods. After three months of negotiations, he made the announcement on his social media platform Truth Social on July 7. On April 3, Trump imposed retaliatory tariffs on various countries around the world, including a 37 percent tariff on Bangladeshi goods. Previously, an average tariff of 15 percent was in effect on Bangladeshi goods.
