78 more pushed in by BSF thru Moulvibazar border

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed 78 more people into Bangladesh through the Moulvibazar border early today (3 July).
Of them, 48 were pushed inside Bangladesh through Pallathal border of Barlekha upazila, while 23 were sent though Sindurkhan border of Sreemangal and five others through Murichra border of Kulaura.
The group of 48 individuals were detained by the patrol teams of Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) in Pallathal border area Barlekha while roaming in the area after being pushed in.
Of the 48, there were 15 male, 15 female and 18 children, said BGB sources.
They had illegally travelled to India through the border areas of Kurigram and Jashore districts for medical treatment and work, said the BGB.
BGB 52 Battalion Commander Lt Col Mohammad Ariful Haque Chowdhury said during interrogation, it was learned that the detainees are residents of Jashore, Bagerhat, Chapainawabganj, Barguna, Barishal and Kurigram districts.
Legal action is being taken against the detained individuals after confirming their identities, he said.
However, details regarding the two other groups arrived in Sreemangal and Kulaura could not be learned immediately.
With today's arrivals, the tally of pushed-ins through the borders in Moulvibazar rose to approximately 500.
