ICT prosecutors to file formal charges against Hasina, two others tomorrow
The two others named in the case are former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former inspector general of police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun
The prosecution will file formal charges tomorrow (1 June) against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others at the International Crimes Tribunal, in connection with alleged crimes against humanity during the anti-discrimination student-people's movement.
The two others named in the case are former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former inspector general of police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.
Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam confirmed the development while speaking to journalists today (31 May).

Earlier, on 12 May, the investigation agency of the Tribunal submitted its report to the chief prosecutor's office. The report names Sheikh Hasina as the instigator of killings that took place during the July–August period.
The case centres on allegations of murder and mass killings carried out in the course of the movement.
On 18 February, the International Crimes Tribunal ordered the investigation against Sheikh Hasina to be completed by 20 April.
The order was issued by a three-member bench led by Tribunal Chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mazumdar, following a prosecution plea for an extension.
Additional Chief Prosecutor Mizanul Islam had appeared on behalf of the prosecution when the extension request was heard.
