Premier Bank unveils bancassurance services

Premier Bank PLC proudly inaugurated its Bancassurance business at a grand ceremony held in its Head Office. This initiative heralds a new chapter in the Bank's enduring commitment to serve its customers with integrated financial solutions—uniting the worlds of banking and insurance through strategic partnerships with Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of Bangladesh and Pragati Insurance Limited.

The event was graced by Mohammad Abu Jafar, Managing Director and CEO of The Premier Bank PLC, who, as the chief guest, illuminated the path ahead with a vision to strengthen the Bank's role as a comprehensive financial partner. Special guests Syed Nowsher Ali, Additional Managing Director of the Bank; Saswata Ray, Managing Director and CEO of LIC Bangladesh; and Papia Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Pragati Insurance Limited, joined in this celebration of collaboration and innovation.

Among the dignitaries present were Fahim Ahmad Ashraf, SEVP and Head of ICC Division; Shamim Murshed, SEVP and Head of Consumer Banking Division; Mohammad Al-Amin, SEVP and Head of CRM; Md. Ahsan Ul Alam, SEVP and Head of Agent Banking Division; Md. Tareq Uddin, EVP and Head of Brand Marketing & PR Division; Abu Md. Sabbir Hassan Chowdhury, EVP and Head of IT Division; Mohammad Ishrat Hossain Khan, EVP and Head of Islamic Banking Division; Mohammad Akram Hossain, FCS, Company Secretary; and Mr. Nurul Alam, Head of Bancassurance at The Premier Bank PLC.
