Nusraat Faria released on bail from Kashimpur jail
After her release at around 3:28pm, she left for Dhaka with her relatives

Actress Nusraat Faria was released on bail from Kashimpur Women's Central Jail in Gazipur today (20 May).
After her release around 3:30pm, she left for Dhaka with her relatives, Senior Jail Superintendent Kawalin Nahar told The Business Standard.
Journalists at the jail premises said she left quietly.
Earlier in the day, a Dhaka court granted bail to Nusraat, who was sent to jail on Monday in connection with an attempted murder case, triggering widespread criticism from various quarters.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Mostafijur Rahman issued the bail order this morning, Nusraat's lawyer Mohammad Iftekhar Hossain told reporters.
On Monday, another Dhaka court of Metropolitan Magistrate Naznin Akter ordered Nusraat to be sent to prison and set 22 May for her bail hearing.
However, Nusraat's lawyer was allowed to pursue bail for her yesterday.
"We had submitted a special put-up requesting Nusraat Faria's bail," Iftekhar said.
"After the hearing, the court granted bail until the police report in the case is submitted and set a Tk5,000 bond."
During Nusraat's bail hearing, her lawyer told the court that Nusraat was not in the country at the time of the incident mentioned in the case.
He submitted documents regarding this matter to the court. After the hearing, the court granted her bail.
After her release, Nusraat thanked everyone who supported her during her arrest and detention. On Facebook, she wrote, "The past two days have been the hardest of my life. I was mentally shattered. However, during this time, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who stood by me constantly."
She added, "From my colleagues to everyone in the industry, even the ordinary people who spoke on my behalf, stood for justice, and supported me – I will always remember their love and support. If you hadn't been there for me, I might not have been able to return to you so quickly."
Nusraat also thanked the media, saying, "I really needed their support. I'll always cherish the love you have shown me."
Nusraat was detained by immigration police at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday when she tried to travel to Thailand. She was later taken to Bhatara police station and then to the Detective Branch for questioning.
According to the case, Nusraat, along with actors Apu Biswas, Nipun Akter, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Zayed Khan, and 12 others, is accused in an attempted murder case linked to the July uprising in the Bhatara area.
The case was filed on 29 April at the Bhatara police station after a court order. It also names former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 283 others.
