Eastern Refinery Officers' association welcomes new leadership

The newly elected committee of the Officers Association of Eastern Refinery Limited, the country's only state-owned oil refinery, formally assumed office on 12 May.

It is noteworthy that the Officers Association of Eastern Refinery Limited election, held on 5 May, was conducted in a highly organised, spontaneous, and peaceful environment.

In this election, nearly 99.39% of the voters exercised their valuable right to vote, demonstrating their trust in the electoral process and active participation.
Mr  Tajul Islam, General Manager (DNC), was elected President, and Mr Sajjad Hossain, Manager (Process), was elected General Secretary. Additionally, Mr Kazi Mahbubur Rahman, AGM (DLO), was elected as Vice President, Mr Monzid Ali as Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Soharab Hossain as Organising Secretary, Mr Mizanur Rahman as Treasurer, Mr Md. Atikul Alam as Executive Member (Manager), Mr Milad Hossain as Executive Member (Assistant Manager), and Mr Nurul Afsar as Executive Member (Officer).
