Biman reschedules Toronto, London, Rome flights to avoid Pakistani airspace

The Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced adjustments to its flights to Toronto, Rome, and London, as it is temporarily avoiding Pakistani airspace amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

The new flight timings will be effective from today (9 May) until 31 May, the national flag carrier said in a press release.

The adjusted schedules are as follows:

Dhaka-Toronto (BG305/306): Departure from Dhaka has been moved forward by 45 minutes, now scheduled at 3am instead of 3:45am. The return flight from Toronto remains unchanged.

Dhaka-London (BG201/202): Regular departures from Dhaka are now set for 7am, 40 minutes earlier than the previous time of 7:40am. The London-Dhaka return schedule remains unchanged.

On Thursdays only, the Dhaka-London flight will depart at 8:10am, instead of 8:50am.

Dhaka-Rome (BG355/356): Departure from Dhaka is now at 10:45am, 45 minutes earlier than the previous time of 11:30am. The Rome departure schedule remains unchanged.

Biman has requested all passengers to report to check-in counters in accordance with the revised flight timings.

The airline also extended its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by these temporary schedule adjustments.
