DHS Motors brings Chinese 'GAC' brand cars to the Bangladesh market

DHS Motors Limited added another international brand to its portfolio through the premiere of the Chinese brand GAC.
GAC is the fifth-largest auto manufacturer in China. In addition to their vehicles, GAC is also the joint venture partner of Honda and Toyota in China.
On Thursday morning, the renowned brand was revealed at the Dhaka Motor Show at ICCB. DHS Motors officials Imran Zaman Khan, CEO, and General Managers Arman Rashid and Farhan Samad were in attendance. Also in attendance were GAC Country Managers Daniel Zhou and Raymon Wang.
GAC offers three models in Bangladesh: the compact SUV GAC EMKOO, the smaller and sportier SUV GAC EMZOOM, and the luxurious MPV GAC E9.
This premiere further highlights DHS's commitment to strengthening the automobile industry in Bangladesh. In the future, DHS Motors Limited will also seek to expand the model lineup to include EVs.
Additionally, DHS is exploring opportunities for the assembly of GAC vehicles in Bangladesh in the near future.
