Aziz Al Kaiser to continue as North South University Trust chairman
Aziz Al Kaiser will continue as the Chairman of the North South University Trust for the 2026–27 term, following his renomination by the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees of North South University expressed its continued confidence in Aziz Al Kaiser's leadership, strategic vision and commitment to institutional growth and development.
Under his leadership, North South University has advanced its governance, institutional development, academic standards, research initiatives and long-term strategic planning.

The Board of Trustees, officers, employees and the wider North South University community congratulated Aziz Al Kaiser on his continuation as the Chairman of the North South University Trust.
They wished him continued success in steering the university towards its strategic objectives and further enhancing its reputation as a leading institution of higher education in Bangladesh and abroad.
"North South University stands today as a testament to visionary leadership, dedication and hard work. I sincerely thank the Board of Trustees for its continued trust and confidence. Together with the entire North South University community, I remain committed to strengthening the university's academic excellence, research, innovation and global engagement," Aziz Al Kaiser said.

Aziz Al Kaiser is the son of the late M A Hashem, eminent industrialist, former member of parliament of the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad, founding member and former chairman of the North South University Board of Trustees, and founder of Partex Group.
Carrying forward his father's legacy, Aziz Al Kaiser has played a significant role in shaping the university's direction and growth over the years.
He is also the Chairman of Partex Star Group and the immediate past Chairman of City Bank PLC.
Aziz Al Kaiser has long served on the North South University Board of Trustees, playing an instrumental role in guiding the university's strategic direction. With a background in the corporate sector and a strong interest in educational development, he brings extensive experience to the role.
