In the nationwide operations, over 15,532 crime suspects were arrested and numerous illegal arms and ammunition were seized in 12 days since the crackdown started afresh.
In the last 24-hour nationwide crackdown, 1,255 more crime suspects were arrested and four bullets, six cartridges and one Chinese axe were seized, said a press release issued by the Police Headquarters.
