Standard Chartered surpasses 100 digital treasury integrations in Bangladesh

Standard Chartered Bangladesh has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 100 successful Host-to-Host (H2H) and API integrations for its corporate and institutional clients. This achievement marks a new benchmark in the country's digital banking evolution and solidifies the Bank's leadership in transforming treasury and trade operations through cutting-edge, real-time connectivity solutions.

The Bank's H2H and API solutions enable businesses to directly connect their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with the Bank. This seamless integration automates processes such as payments, collections, documentary credits, and account updates, happening in real time. This not only saves time but also reduces errors and enhances security. Additionally, businesses gain improved access to data and insights, empowering them to make smarter financial decisions faster.

With this accomplishment, Standard Chartered reinforces its leadership in digitising transaction banking for corporates across various sectors, including FMCG, manufacturing, telecom, healthcare, aviation, finance, and development. The Bank's tailored integration frameworks are designed to meet complex needs, accelerating the shift towards cashless, automated operations.

Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bangladesh, stated, "Reaching 100 Host-to-Host integrations is a testament to Standard Chartered Bank's client-centric strategy in Bangladesh, especially as we celebrate our 120-year journey in the country. This milestone sets a new standard for digital treasury and enables businesses to operate with enhanced speed, control, and confidence in an increasingly connected world. We are proud to partner with our clients in driving innovation, resilience, and growth."

As the first international bank in Bangladesh, Standard Chartered has been a pioneer of transformative innovations throughout its 120-year legacy. From issuing the country's first sovereign LC to launching the first digital trade platform and leading treasury connectivity with H2H and API solutions, the Bank continues to shape the future of banking in Bangladesh. This latest milestone reaffirms its role as a trusted partner and a catalyst for digital progress, helping clients thrive in a rapidly evolving, interconnected world.
