Woman injured in Gazipur cylinder blast dies

A 35-year-old pregnant woman succumbed to her injuries early today (29 April) following a gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur.
Confirming her death, Resident Surgeon Shawon Bin Rahman said Taslima, who was five months pregnant, had been receiving treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka after suffering serious burns and she died there at 6 am.
The fire broke out around 10:45pm on Sunday when a gas cylinder exploded in the Joydebpur area of Gazipur, injuring five members of the same family.
