Bodies of woman, child found on Jayanti Riverbank in Shariatpur

The bodies of a woman and a child were found on the bank of the Jayanti River in the Gosairhat upazila of Shariatpur on Tuesday.
Gosairhat police station's Officer-in-Charge Maksudul Alam said they recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The identities of the deceased and the relation between them could not be known yet.

Locals said they spotted the bodies lying on the riverbank in Kochaipattai Union in the early morning.
The OC said police are trying to know their identities and cause of death.
