Marcel exports ACs to Yemen for the first time
Marcel, one of Bangladesh's leading electronics brands, has begun exporting air conditioners, with its first shipment of inverter technology-based solar hybrid ACs recently sent to Yemen.
Marcel AC's Chief Business Officer Md Tanvir Rahman said the brand has gained significant popularity in the domestic market. "Along with meeting local demand, Marcel is focusing on establishing a strong presence in the global market. As part of this expansion, we have started exporting ACs to Yemen," he said.
He added that Marcel ACs have a competitive edge in the global market due to their advanced technology, innovative design, adherence to international standards, and affordability. He expressed confidence that Marcel ACs would gain the trust of buyers in Yemen in a short time.

Vice-President of Marcel's Global Business Division Abdur Rauf noted that the first shipment was sent on 23 January. He said the ACs would be marketed and sold in Yemen through a well-known local electronics trading enterprise.
According to Marcel's Global Business Branch, the solar hybrid ACs exported to Yemen feature a super power-saving mode. These ACs run on solar power during the day and switch to hybrid mode when sunlight is insufficient, first using solar power and then drawing electricity from the grid as needed. At night, they can operate on either solar-powered batteries or the electric grid, reducing overall energy consumption.
Additionally, the use of anti-rust Coatec industrial solution technology enhances the ACs' durability. Marcel ACs are also environmentally friendly, using R-32 gas, which is free from CFCs and HCFCs.
